Suggest Treatment For Nasal Congestion

I had congestion and decided to use afrin nose spray but i think i got it too far in my nose. Because less than 3 min after using it I have been vomiting clear looking snot/mucus. My throat and nose are burning like crazy. And my nose is running like crazy. I have never had this happen before. I am wondering if it is indeed because of the nose spray?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I had gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

This could be due to nasal spray.

I recommend the following.

1) Decongestant tablet antihistamine levocetrizine with phenylephrine.
2) Oxymetazoline nasal drops for nasal block. Don't use this drops continuously for more than 6 days.

You will be fine.
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any questions, I am happy to help.

Wish you a good health and speedy recovery.

Regards,
