Suggest Treatment For Muscle Spasms And Nerve Pain In Feet

I am 5+ months post op from lumbar fusion surgery involving L1 to S1. I am still struggling with muscle spasms and nerve pain in my feet. The problem was adult scoliosis and the surgery lasted for 11+ hrs. due to complications with arthritis. The original back pain is gone. Should I expect the muscle spasms and nerve pain to eventually clear up?
