Suggest Treatment For Multiple Bumps In The Pubic Region.

MY WIFE HAD USED SHAVING CREAM ON THE PUBIC REGION AND A WEEK LATER DEVELOPED SWELLINGS MULTIPLE FULL OF THICK WHITISH MATERIAL WHICH I BELIEVE TO HYPERPLASIA OF SEBACEOUS GLANDS. SHE IS PREGNANT ALSO. WHAT IS THE BEST REMEDY IN VIEW OF HER CONDITION?

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion it might be folliculitis ie.,hair follicle infection.Always apply antiseptic lotion after shaving failing which the hair follicle gets infected leading to folliculitis.The whitish material might be pus.Do not apply any pressure on them.Dont worry.The bumps will burst spontaneously.Apply mupirocin ointment.If size or pain increase you might need oral antibiotics.Otherwise with local ointment application they subside in 3 to 4 days.
