For about 2-3 weeks now I have (I know this is very gross) been having extremely large amounts of pure mucus that comes out at random from my anus. I could be waking up and stand up and instantly it pours out of me. This randomness happens 3 or 4 if not more times per day and is enough it often goes down the legs of my pants. (I am guessing 1/2 cup worth - though I have obvioulsy never measured.) It also happens when I get the feeing I have to go to the bathroom I will go and it will be pure mucus. I have regular diahreah 1-2 times per day but the rest of the time it is pure clear mucus. The past 3 days there is blood in the actual stool. ) mucus (but cannot see it in the actual stool.) My doctor seems to be not taking me seriously about it as he is more concerned with the recent blood clots that had me hospitalized. PLEASE HELP. I do not know where else to go.
