Since my affected area is face i badly need a cure from this problem. That area has color change and skin is thinning with visible veins. Even i have changes in the shapes of nose lips on that particular side. Pls help me with some solution.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per your case of morphea my treatment advice is:
• It is a long-term (chronic) disease. With treatment the thickening of skin will improve but the color change will reverse on its own.
• If the disease is not progressing (that is no new lesions and no increase in thickening) then there is no need of oral steroids.
• It is better to have other oral medicines like vitamin E capsule daily once, vitamin D3 once a week and non-steroid cream like tacrolimus application.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Harshit Bhachech
