Suggest Treatment For Mitral Valve Prolapse

Hello, I have what I believe to be post prandial pvc s, either that or pnc s. I have mitral valve prolapse which I ve had for years. The irregular beats occur about 10 per minute and last for about 1 hour. This just started about a month ago. Should I be worried.

Hi welcome to HCM.
Mitral valve prolapse is known for causing irregular heart bets like ventricular ectopics.I advice you to have you to have a baseline EKG and 24 hour holter EKG and screening 2 dimensional ECHO of your heart. This can accurately quantify the missed beats.Drugs like Amiodarone can help to control the irregular rate.Radiofrequency ablation can provide permanent cure.Consult your cardiologist for further queries.
Thank you
