Suggest Treatment For Mitochondrial Disorder In An Infant

Hi..my nephew is 2 months old... He is losing his weight and diagnosed as mitochondrial disorder.. Doctors prescribed with vitamin tablets like thiamine,riboflavine, cq10 etc.. But there is no improvement...Please let me know how it could be treated and cured permanently????

Hi, according to me I think the medicines given are appropriate. Am sorry to tell that there is no permanent cure for this mitochondrial disorder. Well, to tell you the fact, the severity of this disorder varies with the kind of defect your nephew has. Please don't loose hope , just enjoy the time with him.
