Please type your query here... sir my sister have a proplem of mitochondrial disease i already go many hospital but no improvement she is no 30 year old she had a problem abt 20 she old we already go there AIMS but nothing any thing give a suggesion wht to do thanxs

Hello...I truly sympathise with your sisters condition.
It would be helpful if you could specify the symptoms that she is having..
Mitochondrial diseases are genetic and may be caused by mutations in the mitochondrial DNA or they may be inherited.
Unfortunately as of today there is no satisfactory or permanent cure for the condition.
The best thing that you could do is provide supportive treatment. Please visit a neurologist who specialises in nerve and muscle disorders.He will guide you regarding the most appropriate action to be taken.
