Suggest Treatment For Migraine

I've had a migraine for seven days now, taken my meds but nothing is working, any solutions? Had a brain scan and everything came back normal. I've never had miagraines in my life until this year. My whole family had them where they have to be taken to the hospital for relief. I am just now getting them. Haven't changed anything in my diet or life.

HHi dear.

I had gone through your query.

Migraine can be treated by two ways.

1st prophylaxis treatment in which medicines help to prevent migraine attack. Medicines like amitriptiline/propranalol/flunarizine/topiramte can help.

Prophylaxis treatment depend upon number and severity of attack.

2nd is treatment of acute attack by medicines like sumatriptan/paracetamol etc.

Now a days nasal spary of almotriptan is available for acute control.

Take advise from your treating doctor before taking the medicine.

I hope I have answered your question.

Happy to help you further.

Wish you a very good health.
