Suggest Treatment For Migraine Headache

I have a terrible migraine headache, which is typically part of my life often. But I haven t had a migraine this bad in some time. I have been taking my prescribed Norco several times today and they have not helped. The dosage I take is 10-325. I took my blood pressure, which is always normal, but was 99/68 and pulse was 85.... Should I go to emergency?

Hello!

Thank you for asking on HCM!

I carefully read your question and would explain that your blood pressure values are below the normal values.

Norco could lead to a decrease in your blood pressure.

I recommend taking plenty of water and avoid straining physical activity.
You should have some rest. You can try other painkillers like ibuprofen or ketoprofen.

If your headache persists, I recommend going to the ER for physical exam and the proper treatment (you may need intravenous perfusions).

Hope to have been of help!

Kind regards,
Dr. Aida
