Suggest Treatment For Migraine Headache And Back Pain

I am a 40 female, been on the pill since I was 18, with the exception of having my 2 kids, but I have noticed lately, my migraines are getting worse I usually get them a week before I start along with serve back pain that radiates to my hip. To add is issues, I am a week early on my period. I am taking Necon 1/35 tablets 28 s. and always take the pill at the same time except on weekends where I take it a couple of hours later. Is there anything I should be concerned with. I have a visit with my OBGYN on August 6.

Hello,
Thank you for your question and welcome to Health Care Magic. I read your query and I understand your concern and the anguish that you are having.

I think that you have a migraine or a headache which is a side effect of the contraception you are on. The estrogen is causing the issue of headaches in you. Estrogen causes several issues such as headaches and also breast tenderness. I think that you need to see a Doctor to take Progesterone only Pill. The progesterone will not cause the side effects that you are having.

All the best and wish you a quick recovery.
Hope this helps you. Feel free to clarify further.
