Suggest Treatment For Medial Malleolus Pain

There's pain when anything comes in contact with the top part of my medial malleolus. Hurts especially when wearing boots that press against it. There's a weird sensation that goes down my foot when I walk or touch it. What could this mean? This all started with a pain I noticed while snowboarding. Inside my boot it felt like a rock was pressing against my ankle.

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. It is likely to be sprain of medial collateral ligament. You may need to do x ray of ankle joint to know pathology. Till then you can take analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Mecobalamine may be of help as it reduces neuralgic pain. You can discuss with your doctor about it. Hope your query get answered. If you have any clarification then please don't hesitate to write to us. I will be happy to help you. Wishing you a good health. Take care.
