Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain it seems that you are suffering from Jaw joint dysfunction also known as Temporomandibular-Joint Dysfunction Syndrome commonly referred to as TMJ OR TMD..

As you also have dislocation of the jaw joint then it can cause difficulty in chewing as well as repeated dislocations during chewing, laughing and other movements that need opening of the mouth bigger and it can lead to pain and discomfort..

Painkillers will relieve the symptoms only to some extent and needs proper treatment..
You should however continue taking painkillers like Advil along with muscle relaxant like Chlorzoxasone and take a soft diet..

However you need to get proper treatment done under guidance of an Oral Surgeon or an Oral Physician and he can advise you a combination of painkiller and muscle relaxant along with Physiotherapy, mouth guards, stress relieving exercises..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
