Suggest Treatment For Lung Infection

My friend wants to work abroad but needs to be cleared on medical first. She has a previous lung infection. She had undergone treatment for 6 months and now she is fine. The result of her xray was stated like this: clear lungs, heart is not enlarged, pulmonary vascular markings are within normal limit, trachea is not narrowed, diaphragm and costophrenic sulci are intact, bony structures are unremarkable. My question is: Can she come in UAE and pass the medical? Since here in UAE it is very strict. Even though you are healed and physically fit to work but if they see a scar on the lungs automatically you will be deported. Can I have an answer? Thanks..

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, your friend can definitely apply for UAE work permit. Because her chest x ray is absolutely normal. She is not having any evidence of active infection or healed scar.
And even if she is having old scar, she can still apply for work visa. We just need to prove this by CT thorax and bronchoscopy.
CT thorax is more Informative than chest x ray.
Bronchoscopic evaluation is also far superior to rule out infection.
If both of these are normal or negative for active infection, she can argue with visa authority about not having active, infectious disease.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wishing good health to your friend.
Thanks.
