Hi

Your mother is suffering from lung cancer.

After her treatment is completed with radiation and chemotherapy i would advise her to do a PET scan to find the condition of the tumour whether it has shrunk or remained the same.

Regards

Oncologist Dr. Monish De's  Response
Hi

I would advise a PET scan.

If the disease is in stable condition then follow up CT scan chest needs to be done after 3 months.

If disease has progressed then palliative chemotherapy needs to be started.
