Suggest Treatment For Lump On Lower Labia

I have an almond shape and size lump on my lower labia that is smooth yet hard I have had it for some time it is the same color as the surrounding skin the doctor has looked at it and said just keep an eye on it to see if it changes shape or size or color it has not however the margin seem to be more distinct as the skin surrounding it is more retracted. I am 51 and post menopausal. I have had this lump for approximately six or seven years. What is it and shouldn t something be done about it?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having few possibilities of having this lump.
1, there might be having Bartholin's gland cyst,
2, prolapsed uterus,
3, prolapse of rectum called rectocele.
This will be more clear after physical examination or ultra sound.
Consult Gynaec and get examined.
Ok and take care.
