Suggest Treatment For Lump On Leg Post Injury

Hi,
I have played softball for my entire life and have been hit countless times. At my fielding practice today, I was hit in the shin and there is a ginormous bump in my leg. This has never happened before and it would be great if you could let me know what I should do for it, thanks!

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be a haematoma due to injury. But better to rule out a fracture by doing X ray examination of the area. If just haematoma then ice pack application initially for 3 to 4 days followed by hot water bag application will be helpful to get it absorbed. An orthopedic examination is well appreciated if pain and swelling persist. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks
