Suggest Treatment For Lump On Back Of Neck

My two year old son woke up with a lump the size of a ping pong ball on the back of his neck near his spine and right below his skull. He has no other symptoms of being ill. It is sore when I touch it but doesn t move and its rubbery feeling. Should I have him seen immediately?.
