hi my daughter s primary physician found a lump in her right breast in april 2015. She just had a ultrasound and a mamogram last week which were not clear, the lump is the size of a quarter and is not hard or painful. She has a biospy on Tuesday. She is 38 years, in excellent health, she is not over weight, she exerccises every week, eats healthy natural food, she does drink alcohol in moderation, and doesn t do drugs, she doesn t smoke and never has. Her partner and her just had a baby last year, her partner had the baby. They both stopped drinking for over a year. She has been drinking alot more caffine then usual because she is tired from working full time and taking care of a new baby. She has one great aunt who had breast cancer and died from the disease 37 years ago. No other close relative have had breast cancer, which includes her mother, her grandmother, her 2 half sisters, her aunts and her first and second cousins none have had breast cancer. of course, i am her mom and i am concerned and I knowno one can tell until the results of the biopsy are in. What is the likely hood that it is a benign cyst?
