Suggest Treatment For Lump And Bruising On Left Cheek After Injury

My ex fiancee threw me into a wall a little over one week ago, I hit the corner with great force. It resulted in a black eye and severe bruising of my entire cheek. The bruising is fading, but I have a hard lump the size of a golf ball on my cheekbone that is just not going down. I'm starting a new job in a few days, what can I do?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms black eye is due to hemorrhage caused due to rupture of small blood vessels secondary to injury and the blood gets accumulated under the skin leading t formation of Black Eye.
Nothing to worry as slowly the blood will get disintegrated and the bruising will completely fade away.
The hard golf ball like lump over the cheek is also due to injury leading to Hematoma formation as well as collection of inflammatory cells, dead tissue in that area and localizing and encapsulating the hematoma leading to formation of a hard lump.

Nothing to worry about it do alternate warm and cold compresses over it.
Apply Thrombophob gel.
You can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen to reduce inflammation and faster resolution of lump.

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
