Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain And Back Ache

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...am 29 years,5'7 ft and 66kgs, i have a history of lower abdominal pain,back ache,heavy monthly periods, frequent UTI's. i was diagnonised with diffuse adenomyosis and was prescribed with lupride injection. What does this mean and is their an alternative prescription?

Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.

The Diffuse adenomyosis is a condition in which al the muscles of the uterus are diseased to have inflammatory and causes too much pain and associated symptoms.
If the medical treatment fails to resolve this, the only option is ''Hysterectomy''.

There can be associated PID- Pelvis Inflammatory Disease. You can certainly take a course of antibiotic, metronidazoe and anti-fungal tablets and the same dose and course to be taken by your husband. This may help.
