Suggest Treatment For Low Testosterone Levels In An Elderly Person
Hi Dr. Chandan, I am 65. I have been diagnosed to be low testosterone, I play tennis 3-4 times a week. my BMI is 23. My blood test indicated that my LH and FSH are high, my brain is telling my testes to produce testosterone but it is not done. Does it mean that I have low Leydig cells and atrophy testes ? I am on testosterone gel. Is there a way to heal my atrophy ? Regards/ Francis
hi... you are 65..so testicular function is reduce as per age..and atrophy of testes occur as other all body structutes..it is normal aging phenomenon.. i dont think tou should continue any testosterone medication.. still you wanna continue..you can... but in my openion nothing to worry about reports..they are normal.
