Suggest Treatment For Low Platelet Count

My platlet count reduced from 90000 to 64000 after taking medicines for malaria. Heamatologist suggested I take Folic acid tabs for a month and recheck. It increased to 80000. After one month again count reduced to 68000. Is there some problem. what should I do?
