Suggest Treatment For Loss Of Appetite And Blisters In Mouth
I am a 59 year old female, starting 5 days ago I developed nausea that then turned into a complete loss of appetite, my taste buds no longer let me taste anything. I then started developing blisters in my mouth inside and outside of the gum, on the tongue and inside lip. I also have not been able to sleep I wake up and can t get back to sleep. These all developed daily over a 5 day period. On the 5th day today I can just start tasting somewhat.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted your findings of being 59 and started with nausea which turned into loss of appetite and development of the blisters all over mouth. This inflammation caused the loss of taste bud sensation. Fortunately the body's own healing took over and hence the taste is regaining so soon. I would advise you the following: Consult your Doctor or an ENT Surgeon preferably so that a proper clinical evaluation to see whether you have stomatitis and of the probable reasons so that a proper treatment can be started. Also apply anti-fungal oral applications so that oral thrush is avoided.
