Suggest Treatment For Loose Motion To A 8 Months Old?

My 8 month old baby has a slight watery yellow poop for 6days, then yesterday i noticed that she had lots of diaper rash, and rasher within her neck and nape. An hour ago her body temperature reached 37.4 degree celcius and she feels so hot. What should i do?

Hi.... Many thanks for consulting in Health Care Magic.  It seems your kid is having acute watery  diarrhea. Unless the kid's having low urine output or very dull or excessively sleepy or blood in motion or green bilious vomiting...you need not worry. Antibiotics might worsen if unnecessarily used causing antibiotic associated diarrhea. I suggest you use zinc supplements (Z&D drops 1ml once a day for 14 days) & ORS... Give paracetamol for fever at 15mg/kg/day every 4-6th hourly if fever is more than 100F. Rash free ointment will help excoriation around anus. Hope my answer was helpful for you.
