Suggest Treatment For Light Cramps After Taking Misoprostol
I take 3 misoprostol tablet, two under the tongue and one vaginal process. After that I experience light cramps and fever but didnt last long. After 6 hours I had very light bleeding only with small clots til now and its about 21 hours since I took the tablet. Does it become effective or not?

Understand your concern
Misoprostol should be used under the observation of gynecologist. Ideally it should be used after mifepristone for successful abortion.
Standardized dose of misoprostol for less than 9 week pregnancy is: 800 ug should be put vaginally or orally and you take use maximum 2 dose after first dose every 6-8 hour in the absence of the bleeding.
But in your case as light bleeding occur after 6 hour suggest the abortion process has been started.
Now if no bleeding with in 1-2 days then you have to consult the gynecologist and go for USG scan to know the status of pregnancy. Pregnancy should be terminated by using extra dose of misoprostol under supervision of gynecologist. If misoprostol fails to induce then pregnancy should be terminated by surgical process like suction evacuation or d & c.
Post abortion USG should be done after 14th day to confirm incomplete abortion for safe practice.
Abdominal cramp occurs as misoprostol cause abdominal contraction. You should take meftal spas and proper rest fro 2 days to minimize the abdominal cramp. Maintain proper pelvic hygiene to prevent infection.
