Hello,

Without an exam, I can only give general information and cannot say in your particular case, without an exam.

But generally, it is going to be a spinal problem such as a disk hitting the spine if there is neurological impairment. and this is generally an indication for surgical decompression.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Matt Wachsman, Addiction Medicine Specialist
