Hello,

Pain in the left hypochondrium may be due acute gastritis, pleuracy, splenomegaly, cardiac pain or pneumonia etcetera. Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is.

Please consult your doctor so that he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
