Suggest Treatment For Left Leg And Hip Injury

I fell off my bike a few days ago and landed on my left leg and hip, a spot mid thigh lumped and bruised almost immediately and is still very tender to the touch and while I walk. I also seem to be retaining water in that leg through out the day, is that from the bruising or is it a sign of something else?

Hello,

Post any RTA we need to be taking an x-ray of the injured limb and joint is advised. In your case the hip is injured and so does we need an x-ray of the hip. Post which, if there seems to be no bony Injury than we need to stabilize the hip joint, clean the wound, and do hot water fermentation to the lower back and hip muscles. Post which once the wound is healed doing simple exercises to strengthen the core, hip muscles and thigh muscles is advised. Since this won't be any kind of major thing but an internal muscular injury and will heal with time.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
