Suggest Treatment For Lack Of Sleep

hallo dr my age is 45 my weight is 56 . I have problem of sleeping for the past 7 years. I consulted dr and I did scane also. in that I have a problem of blood seizure. because of that atleset twice in a month I get fits for a mint. then I t will go automatically. I am taking eption 100 mg,for sleeping attivan 2 mg. but still I am not getting a proper sleep. if I am not sleeping next day I feel very tired and weak. can u pls sugget me remedy . thank u so much

Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I have noted your symptoms. You seem to be suffering from two problems, epilepsy as well as sleep disorder.

Your seizures are not under very good control. Instead of eptoin (phenytoin), you may take sodium valproate or oxcarbazepine, which have better efficacy and safety profiles than eptoin.

For your sleep problem, you may take zolpidem tablets. These induce sleep and maintain natural sleep rhythm. Also, they do not lead to addiction.
