General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You have kyphosis means upper back bending. It may be a birth defect also.

Low calcium level causes osteoporosis in the back region to cause kyphosis problem. Any nerve compression at back region causes numbness at back region.

If you have the birth defect than surgery can be done for kyphosis.
Physiotherapy is helpful for symptoms relief.

Consent a physician for further diagnosis.

Proper physical examination and history give the exact idea.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ivan R. Rommstein,
General Surgeon
