Suggest Treatment For Knee Pain After Injury

hi i recently hurt my knee on a sharp bit of my bike it is not extremely painful but it still hurts it has been hurting since three days ago there is no brusing but it is tender when i touch it im sure its not broken but i can walk on it as normal still regards hanah

Hi,

Thanks for your question.
After going through your question, there may be possibility of ligament or miniscal injury.

Watch for -
- Locking of knee during movement.
- Increase in pain with twisting movement of knee.

Try some pain killer with anti-inflammatory medicine.

If no relief or aggravation of pain or in case of presence of above mentioned finding, it is better to consult orthopedician. There will be need for detailed knee examination. Depending upon it there may be need for MRI of knee joint.
