Suggest Treatment For Joint Pain And Cholesterol

I just turned 67. I have a torn tendon in my left hip, some arhiritis, weigh 185 at 5 2. I have a low thyroid, and at this time moderate depression. My doctor just told me my cholesterol is EXTREMELY HIGH. Upon reading some info on Hishimoto s Disease, I understand my diet is limited; with the cholesterol, my diet is limited; with joint pain, my movement is llimited. Help. I m ready to dig in and do what is necessary. Thank you for any advice that will help.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query.Your cholesterol should be high due to hypothyroidism. In such case i recommend thyroxin according to the level and low dose statins. High cholesterol even gives you joint pain.Your uric acid level also should be tested. You can have exercise which doesn't hurt your hip or joints.Vitamin C and green tea also benefit you.Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further query.
I find this answer helpful
