General & Family Physician 's  Response
Jaundice due to viral hepatitis E is treated conservatively by liver tonic. But it will take time to completely recover.
Advice
1.     Go to a hospital and contact a doctor as you might need intensive supportive treatment
2.     Take proper rest. Do not involve in strenuous activity for few months.
3.     Make sure that you drink clean, uncontaminated water
4.     Take vegetables and fruit juice.
5.     Avoid alcohol and medicines known to cause liver damage such as paracetamol
6.     Divide your meals into smaller portions and eat them frequently during the day
7.     Avoid oily & spicy food
8.     Investigations – Serum bilirubin, SGPT/SGOT, Hb%, HBV/HCV screening
9.     Continue using medicines as suggested by your doctor.

Thanks!
