Suggest Treatment For Itchy Swollen Eyes And Mucus

My two year old grandson got itchy swollen eyes today they got red and then tonight white stringy stuff was coming out and i gave him antihistamine which is for his allergies and washed his eyes with warm cloth but they got stuck shut later so i cleaned them again and a lot of white stuff came out what else can i do before we can get to Dr tomorrow and is it contagious

it may be allergic conjunctivitis.avoid known allergen. it can be food drink or a pet in-house. can apply cromal eye drop two times daily. clean the eyes with fresh water and wipe with sterile gauge. can give antihistaminic like levocetrizine or benadryl syrup and doses according to age and body weight.

it can be allergic conjunctivitis. give benadryl syrup and dose should be according to age and body weight. apply cromal eye drop two times daily.it is not contagious. can consult ophthalmologist for examination and advise on treatment.
