Hi Rhonda has a rash red in color between her breasts like little red dots. We tried Benadryl, cortisone 10 and it is getting worse what is the best ointment to stop the rash it also itches it is about a grouping about 5 -6 inches long and about 2 - 3 inches in width only between her breasts
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have itchy rash between the breast . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like dermatitis , paget's disease of the breast , hives and angioedema , psoriasis or scabies. I would suggest you to take over the counter antihistamine like benadryl , do not apply any cosmetic product , apply cold compresses and keep the area clean and dry . If condition doesn't get well then consult dermatologist for proper examination . Doctor may order certain test like allergy test and blood test to confirm the diagnosis . Doctor may prescribe immunosuppressants , corticosteroid ointment along with anti inflammatory . Doctor may also prescribe antifungal in case of fungal infection.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
