Suggest Treatment For Itchy Bump On Labia Caused By An Ingrown Hair

I went to the doctor recently over an overpowering itch on my labia for the pat four months. I had scratches it pretty badly and had broken the skin. The doctor also did a swab test for heroes over a line of white painless bombs on my labia minor (but they ve been there for ever, never changed). The test came back negative. My concern is on another bump- the doctor said it was an ingrown hair but it wasn t painful at all, felt like there was a hard mass inside and when I inspected it there was thick white pus. There is a second one on the other side of my labia. Can they both my ingrown hairs or should I go back to the doctor? They re smooth, painless, circular, and for the most part flesh coloured also there was a cloudy whiteness before I popped it.

Ingrowing hair can lead to a condition which is known as psuedofolliculitis. It occurs when the hair shaft turns inwards and causes information of the surrounding tissue.Topical antibacterial creams like mupirocin can be applied over the affected area. Oral antibiotics like Azithromycin might also help. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
