Suggest Treatment For Itching Sensation On The Underarms

i have not had sexual intercourse of any type for over 12 years but, i have had athletics foot for many years around the toes. now I have this condition to where I itch and scratch under my arm pits, behind my knees, and the genital area. I have tried creams for viruses and dry skin and that does not work. I have gone as far as taking drops of 35% food grade hydrogen peroxide. I don t believe my doctor knows what it is.

Hello,

As per your case history, you are having Intertrigo axilla, my treatment advice is:

1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like Clotrimazole cream twice daily on affected skin.
3. Take an antihistamine medicine like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.
4. Other treatment options are Oral Fluconazole, Itraconazole and Terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
