Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Three weeks ago I had an itching sensation on my vulva. I rubbed it to where there is a small cut above my clitoris. I have applied vaseline and neosporin but the sensation won't go away. The cut heals and comes back. I am 55 and going through menopause. This happened last January and it cleared up in about 2 weeks.
Hi I think you should consult a gynecologist for complete examination. It can be due to some vaginal infection also. You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat that. Hope it helps.
