Suggest Treatment For Itching And Sore Bumps On Scalp
I get sore, almost pimple like, spots on my scalp every few days. My scalp is very dry and somewhat itchy. My stylist says I don't have dandruff but I do have a dry scalp. The sore spots are sometimes a little raised and can come off when scratched. Sometimes they are pinkish in color and when scratched off they leave a little red spot on the scalp.
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain itching and sore bumps over the scalp can be due to a number of causes like Contact DERMATITIS, Seborrheic Dermatitis, Scalp Psoriasis..
I would suggest you to consult a Trichologist and get evaluated and he can do a clinical evaluation along with investigations to rule out for the exact cause of the symptoms and treatment can be done accordingly..
He can advise you antifungal shampoo containing Ketoconazole.. Shampoos and lotions containing Coal tar, selenium, Zinc etc.. Steroid lotions can also be advised..
Hope this information helps..
