Suggest Treatment For Itchiness On Hands And Forearm?

Evening! Sorry to bother you my husband has been sat looking through the latest Argos hook when suddenly he felt very strange and was excessively itching on hands and forearms . He's had a bath to help soothe it but had to get out quickly to be sick! Some being sick he says he feels slightly better however his eyes are very red and inflamed and his arms have a rash on them? Any ideas !

Hi,

Your husband should be further evaluated by a dermatologist to differentiate whether it is an eczema or a fungal infection of the skin.

Depending on the final evaluation, further treatment is needed. I advise to:

- apply anti-itching cream locally
- start anti-histaminic drug orally

until the final treatment of dermatologist.

All the best!
