Suggest Treatment For Itchiness All Over The Body

A couple days ago, my skin began to itch. It itched everywhere and all the time. It wasn t contained to one certain area of my body or even specific spots within general areas. However, there was no rash anywhere on my body. I continued to scratch, and small red bumps, very spaced out, began to form on my back and stomach/chest area. I try to stop itching, but it has just gotten worse. I have trouble falling asleep at night due to the severity of the itchiness. Can you help me figure out what I have and how to remedy it? Thanks! Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of itchiness all over the body. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to many reasons like contact dermatitis which can be caused by coming into contact beauty products chemicals and poisonous plants, side effects or certain medicines, allergic reaction, sensitivity to sunlight , eczema and psoriasis. It could be de to poor immunity and increased sensitivity of body. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to maintain proper personal hygiene , take zyrtec once daily. You should not touch or prick any itchy area. Drink plenty of fluids to maintain hydration status of body. You should consult dermatologist for proper examination. Doctor may order skin patch test , blood test , test fro allergy and physical examination. Doctor may prescribe corticosteroid ointment , antibiotics , anti inflammatory and immunosuppressants . Apply cold compresses to reduce the itchiness and inflammation .
