Hello, I am a 55 year old female, had an ischemic cerebellar stroke 9 months ago (no history, no hypertension, no diabetes, no cardiovascular problems, cholesterol fine...I feel it was caused by stress-related migraines) and am hoping it was an anomaly. Was told to take low-dose aspirin daily. Still having regular periods (average age of menopause with women in my family is 58), but since taking aspiring they are excessively heavy (including large clots) and long, and more frequent. I have now been bleeding heavily during this period for 2 1/2 weeks. Hard not to make the connection with the aspirin. Should I stop taking it? Thank you.
