Suggest Treatment For Irritable Bowel Syndrome

over the last week i will get a sudden urge to go to the toilet after not having to go all day and when i go it all falls out (as mainly solid) but then finishes being loose, like im not digesting the food properly, this will then last all day. Is it a minor bug? or maybe IBS, im not to sure, hard to understand, not diarrhoea or constipation, but a bit like both.

Hello,

Some advices that I can give to you are:
-Use anticholinergic medications. Medications such as dicyclomine (Bentyl) can help relieve painful bowel spasms
-Eat more fiber.
-Drink more liquids.
-Do a stool test to rule out any bacterial infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
