Hi,

Medroxyprogesterone is a derivative of female hormone, progesterone. As long as the drug is taken, uterine endometrium grows.Once the drug is stopped, uterus lining sheds resulting in withdrawal bleeding. Withdrawal bleeding usually occurs 3 to 5 days after stopping the drug.

In some women bleeding may also occur after 7 to 10 days. I would suggest you to wait for 5 to 7 days for your cycles to resume.Hormonal treatment may have to be repeated if cycles do not resume.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
