Hi,

I presume you were prescribed Tranexamic Acid to arrest the bleeding episodes. However, the underlying cause of the abnormal bleeding pattern has not been attended to.

You need a thorough evaluation which includes a complete physical exam, blood counts, coagulation profile, hormone assay and a sonogram of the abdomen and pelvis, along with a trans-vaginal sonogram. This will help to detect the cause and plan further management.

Please maintain a healthy diet and a healthy weight.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam,
