Suggest Treatment For Irregular Menstruation

Hello, I have been taking Daphne (Lynesterol) pills for almost 3 months now. On the first two months, I got my menstruation on the 2nd week. But now on the third month, there are three mini pills left but I haven t got my menstruation yet. Could I possibly be pregnant? Should I stop taking the pills and switch to a new one? I m actually using the pills for birth control also, I have irregular menstruation and want to have regular periods each month that s why I m taking it.

Hi I think you should do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first. Sometimes failure do occur. If negative, wait for the periods.Continue taking the pill. If your periods are irregular, get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods. If anything is abnormal, it needs to be treated. Hope it helps.
