Hi,

Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) is a condition which is associated with menstrual disturbances and difficulty in conceiving.

By means of medications, menstrual cycle can be regularised and also chances of conceiving improves.

However, it takes about 3 to 6 months to make it happen. Kindly take the medications as prescribed by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as advised.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
