Suggest Treatment For Iritis
Hi Dr. I suffer from iritis. Last week I had a mild flare up in my right eye. Went to my GP. Prescribed maxitrol eye drops and also awaiting consult with specialist. not a great improvement but not too bad. Usually I am prescribed maxidex eyedrops and pupil dilators. Is maxidex stronger? Thanks so much

The treatment prescribed by your general practitioner is in right direction and you can continue it. If the attacks of iritis are recurrent it requires evaluation to find out the underlying cause by systemic evaluation.
