Suggest Treatment For Involuntary Jerks In Arms

Hi I am In newzealand
I am currently with a neurologist as outpatient....I have been unwell for just over 2 years.....but since the birth of my first child I have had uncontrollable shakes /seizures......well I had been told for 16 years they were called monocolic seizures......all that happens is the i jerk shake and cant stop it but I do not black out or loose bladder control etc. I have learned how to live with it and its just something that happens.... But why I am here is since I have been unwell for past 2 years with fatigue and always getting sick from sore throats to a real bad Flu and lung infections sore bones weakness of limbs....I had a turn where I had these shakes but it was new where I fell with weakness of limbs and also had speech problems......I was investagated for epilespy ...excuse my spelling....which I new and that I did not have that...due to that showing I dont I was told it was basically in my head and I needed to look at breathing technics I was so angry as I new something was wrong.......then came the depression and self harm which I never have had in my life and couldnt understand...so I saw a mental health councler who said ...the depression etc is not mental it is physical and untill you find out whats wrong talkn about it will not help. I have suffered from severe migraines and I knew something is not right....so after Demanding thru the Gp I finally got a ct scan of brain.....the result was well all I got told is there shows abnormalities in the brain..... so with being reffered to a neurologist I had a Mri of my spine and brain......Mri again showed abnormalities of the brain on the left side in 2 places all I know is one is in frontal lobe....Mri of spine did not show any concerns..... while these test were taking place I became more ill...I had numbness of hands and feets... real bad fatigue.....pressure in the head as if you were hung upside down...un balanced and would fall...very nautious...pain in the head and sensation of numbness also had electric type shocks going from my mid section up to my head....I couldnt concentrate my hands got to the point I couldnt type on computer....I had sore left eye in the back sore face........I went thru HELL!!! . my viens started to buldge in hands and feet....heat would make me worse.... so I had a lumbar puncture with the guide of a xray ... they tried 3 times and could not get the fluid.......... so after that I had blood tests and they were fine even had a cadasil test that took a while... I have a evoked potential test ...... ALL I have been told is that it looks like its not inflamation but blood vessles and that I have a very increased white matter which is not normal at all for my age (38yrs) . I am now at a point where I am in like a relaspe mode where all I have is the numbness of hands and feet and slight unbalanced.......... I really felt like it was MS due to everything......but why I am here is for advice in what you think I need to have tested as I basically are on a slow lets do a test wait then wait then lets do another ....... I am very lucky I am in some type of relaspe mode and I so dont want to go thru all of it again and all I want is to know why I am ill as sick of not knowing why and feeling like a fake..... as the hospital gets busy and they just dont want to know.....I even got asked do you think you are doing that yourself?? when I had the shakes...I was so hurt by that as if I want to look like a idiot...I still get uncontrollable jerks my arm with just raise its self up and its weird and its always on my left side.... I am basically not really getting told anything and I dont know what to do.

Neurologist 's  Response
Hi,

If they jerks are occurring predominantly in the morning, they may myoclonic jerks. Also, called myoclonic epilepsy. Please start taking Tab. Lerace.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
